AGM & Church Update

As restrictions have lifted, and we carefully return back to a busy programme of services and events, we hope that you will make an effort to come to Westbury Park Spiritualist Church and support us. This is a critical time after so much change and uncertainty, and your support is highly valued. Take a look at the dates for a series of workshops this year > 2022 Workshops

And don’t forget, we have added more subjects to our development circles so that you can find the right opportunity for you! > what’s on?

It’s also time for our Annual General Meeting (AGM). Church members and guests are welcome to attend, and we need your input. Existing church members will have received their nomination packs, and been asked to nominate members who can serve on committee. Without the committee, the church cannot operate. Some current committee members are stepping down from their roles, or the committee after many years’ service, so it is vital that new members step forwards. Just ask if oyu’re interested, and would like to find out more.

The meeting will report on the last year of activities in church, and answer any questions about all aspects of the running of the church – from services and circles, to finances and future plans. As a democratic church, we are asking all members to attend and support your church. This is an important year for the 70 year old church’s future, and we need your help to ensure it continues for another 70 years!

If you’re not a member, ask in church to join, or come to the AGM and learn more about how it is run.

The meeting takes place in church on Wednesday March 16th 2022 at 7.30pm

Closing dates for nominations is March 2nd 2022, so if you are interested in a committee role, get in touch as soon as possible.
