As we move towards Autumn, Westbury Park Spiritualist Church is looking forward to a more familiar shape to our week. Services have once more commenced on Sundays at 11am and 6.30pm. It has been wonderful to welcome back our congregation and our speakers, old and new. Although many have been nervous about returning to the public space of a church, they have been relieved to feel safe and secure while enjoying their time with us.
On Sunday 26th September, our Harvest Weekend, we’re asking our congregation to bring in non-perishable items to donate to a local foodbank. If you prefer, a donation will enable us to buy goods on your behalf. We’ve asked the foodbank what they need most, so we can make sure your gift is used to help as much as possible. On the horizon too is our Remembrance Weekend, and you’ll find a special service on Remembrance Sunday.
Our Healing Session has also re-commenced, every Wednesday between 2pm and 3.30pm. It offers a calm haven for those in need of the healing energy of God to support them in mind, body or spirit – or all three! Perhaps there has never been a greater need for healing to complement our wellbeing.
And from September 30th 2021, and every following Thursday, our Development Circle begins again. For many people, the circle has been an important part of their journey in Spiritualism, helping them to explore their connection with the Spirit, Spiritualism, and their own spirituality. The circle starts at 7.30pm, and will be led by experienced mediums / teachers.
You’ll find details of all of these activities and events on this site, and we look forward to seeing you and welcoming you back to the uplifting space of Westbury Park Spiritualist Church – see you soon!
